Early Childhood

WWCHS Early Childhood Education practicum students went to the Future Georgia Educators Day event at the University of Georgia. This event is hosted by PAGE at different colleges across the state of Georgia throughout the school year, in effort to increase students' knowledge on teaching and the great need for teachers in Georgia. We heard an inspiring message from a former Georgia teacher of the year, participated in a couple of sessions taught by professors at UGA on reading education and special education, had a Chick-fil-A catered lunch, and also participated in a college fair.
