  • Over 8,00 Scholarships - Career One Stop sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor
  • Miscellaneous Scholarships- Due between October 2018 and January 2019
  • Ga State Senate Essay Scholarship-Essay scholarship for Georgia High School Seniors.
  • University of North Georgia Military Scholarship-Georgia awards 42 High School Seniors with the University of North Ga Military Scholarship. This scholarship is a for a full four yours. Due February 1, 2019
  • Watson Brown Scholarship- Scholarship to help with college expenses; tuition, room and board, and books. Due February 15, 2019
  • Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship- This scholarship is open to any high school senior who has a 3.0 GPA or higher, plans to attend a 4 year college/university, and has demonstrated leadership abilities through participating in community services or other extra curricular activities. Due March 31, 2019
  • Hill Chapel Baptist Church Scholarship- This scholarship is open to any high school senior with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Due February 22, 2019
  • Hagen Scholarship- Is a nationwide, needs based, merit scholarship for high achieving high school students. Due November 15, 2018 by 5:00 PM CST
  • ASA Tuten Memorial Scholarship -  GFSA State Scholarship Essay Contest is open to high school seniors in Georgia who plan to further their education at a college/university or certified trade school in the United States. The scholarship is not based on financial need. Relatives of GFSA board members may not enter. Due March 18, 2019
  • Army ROTC scholarship- 
  • Athnet Sports Recruiting Scholarship- Undergraduates who were athletes at the high school level. You do not need to be an athlete at the college level. 
  • Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship- Senior graduation high school, and demonstrate an interest in Vegetarianism in the community or at school. Due Feb. 20, 2018.
  • Sp Scholarships- Senior in high school planning to attend college in September 2018. Answer essay questions on sponsors website. Due Feb. 28, 2018
  • Project Yellow Light Billboard Scholarship- Be a Junior or Senior in High School between the ages of 14-20 and create a design for a billboard advertisement to encourage safe driving. Due March 1, 2018
  • National Farmers Farm Kids Scholarships- High School Senior who plans to pursue agriculture-related degree. Due March 1, 2018
  • SEG Scholarship- High school senior planning to attend college next year and intending to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in applied geophysics. Due March 1, 2018
  • USPAACC Scholarships- Be at least 16 years of age and a high school senior. Also be of Asian or Pacific Island Heritage. Due March 10, 2018
  • Microsoft Disablity Scholarship- A current high school senior living with a disability (as defined by WHO). Due March 15, 2018
  • United States Institute of Peace Scholarships- High school senior interested in learning and writing issues of peace and conflict, encouraging appreciation for diplomacy's role in building partnerships that adavance peacebuilding. Due March 15, 2018
  • Beyond the Boroughs National Scholarship- high school senior accepted into an accredited college and be of low income household. Due March 15, 2018
  • Harris Poll Scholarship- Be a legal resident of the 50 United States and DC  and who are 13 years old or older at the time of entry. Due March 15, 2018
  • Sister Rita Jeanne Scholarships- High Senior interested in Journalism. Due March 15, 2018
  • Richard Holland Memorial Scholarship- Have a 3.5 GPA as High School Senior and plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university. Due March 15, 2018
  • VIP Voice Scholarship- Must be at least 13 years of age or older and submit your entry by 11:59 ET on the day of the deadline. Due March 31, 2018
  • Student Tour Deals Scholarship- Be attending college/university no later than FAll 2019 with a GPA great than 2.75. Due April 30, 2018
  • The Solomon Law Group $1000 Scholarship - Due July 12, 2019
  • We the Students Essay Contest Winners of this year’s contest will receive a total of $20,000 in scholarship funds including a $5,000 award and a scholarship to 2019 Constitutional Academy to the grand prize winner.

 

 Local Scholarships

  • Rayle Emc Scholarship-Students applying for this scholarship must live in a house that receives electric service from Rayle EMC. Due January 18, 2019
  • Renee Moon Memorial Scholarhsip-This scholarship is for students seeking a degree in the medical field. Due April 22, 2019
  • Beta Sigma Phi Memorial Scholarship - This is an annual Medical Scholarhsip. Given in memory of Ann Kortrey and Marty Blackmon. Due April 5, 2019 
  • Washington Rotary Club Scholarship - Designed to help a graduating senior get started and further his or her education at a post secondary institution. DUE March 26, 2019
  • Kiwanis Club Scholarship - Scholarships granted to further the educations of those youth who demonstate civic and moral excellence in the community. Due April 1, 2019
  • William Davis McCarty Memorial Scholarship -  Student must demonstrate determination, perserverence, and positive attitude towards continuance of education goals. Due March 26th 
  • Kettle Creek Rifle & Pistol Club - Scholarship granted to WWCHS senior who has  already been accepted to a college or university. Also available to seniors whose parents are members of Kettle Creek Rifle & Pistol Club. 
  • Smyrna United Methodist Church - Student does not have to be a member of the church. Due April 15, 2019
  • Optimist Club Friend of Youth - To recognize and assist deserving and outstanding Wilkes County students who are pursuing a higher education. Turn in to Counselor's Office DUE March 18, 2019
  • Delta Kappa Gamma-Gamma Tau - To recognize a female student who plans to major in education. DUE April 17th
  • Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Gamma Tau Chapter- DUE April 2, 2018
  • Elbert County Gun Club -  (1) Scholarship awarded to a child or grandchild of a club member (2) Scholarship awarded to a resident of Elbert, Franklin, Hart, Madison, Oglethorpe, or Wilkes counties.
  • Georgia Head Start Association Scholarship-This scholarship is for former Head Start students who are seniors graduation high school on schedule. Due March 15, 2019.
  • LWREA -  Scholarship awarced to a student who plans to attend a college or vocational school for the upcoming academic year. Due March 30th
  • John Duggan Memorial Scholarship -  The Woman's Club awards a scholarship to a deserving graduating senior in honor of John Rochford Duggan. Due March 29, 2018
  • Washington-Wilkes Scholarship - To provide financial assistance for higher education to students of Wilkes County who have demonstrated strong personal character and academic potential, and who qualify for financial need. Due April 15, 2018- to High School Counselor
  • North Wilkes Steering Committee - Offering a scholarship to two high school seniors from the Tignall/North Wilkes area who plan to enter college or a technical school. DUE May 15, 2019
  • Charles J. Wurst, Jr. Leadership Scholarship - To recognize and assist deserving and outstanding high school students who are pursuing a higher education. DUE April 16
  • Mitchell Willingham 4-H Scholarship- Scholarship awarded to an active graduating 4-H senior.
  • Wilkes County NAACP Scholarship- DUE April 8, 2019
  • Woodmen of the World Scholarship
  • GAHRA scholarship- Georgia Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities High School Student Scholarship. Student must be a resident of federally assisted housing.  See your counselor or Local Housing Authority for more information. Due March 6, 2019
  • Gene Higginbotham Memorial Scholarship- Due March 22, 2019
  • Wilkes County Ducks Unlimited Scholarship- Due April 6, 2018
  • Julian and Jan Hester Scholarship- scholarship for high school students who will be entering a Georgia university, college or technical school for the Fall 2019.
