Band Meeting

2018-2019 Marching Band Meeting

Tuesday, May 22, 2018

6:00 pm in WWCHS Cafeteria

ALL parents and students who will be joining us in the marching band for the 2018-2019 season are required to attend.  We will be discussing the handbook, expectations, fees, and any questions you have about marching band.  Parents also need to plan on making a down payment of at least $50.00 at the meeting to go towards your child’s marching band fees.

Does FAFSA have you feeling overwhelmed?

There will be a FAFSA workshop on November 30th from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Media Center at WWCHS.  Please allow 1 1/2 hours to complete the application.  Please be sure to bring the following:  social security number, W-2 forms, 2016 income tax returns, records of child support paid, record of taxable earnings, current investment records, current business/farm/bank statements.

The Tiger Healh Clinic is a school based telehealth clinic located at WW Primary and Elementary schools, with a mobile unit available to serve WW Middle & High!

WWCHS Homecoming

WWCHS Homecoming Parade...

  • Thursday- September 21st @ 6pm
  • Parade line up will begin at 5pm at the Pope Center
  • Any community organization interested in being in the parade can pick up a form in the front office of the High School.  All forms must be turned back in to the High School by 9/18.

Change this year:
-The band will leave the parade at the Square and continue to play on the Square as the parade continues to Tiger Stadium.

All floats associated with Parks and Rec. will drop off on the visitor's side of the stadium.

Prom Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 19th through Friday, March 30th. Juniors may purchase tickets during lunch or see Mr. Atkinson. Tickets are $25 each and ALL attendees must have a ticket. Seniors may obtain one free ticket.


Students bringing a date not from WWCHS, must fill out the guest form and turn it in to Mr. Wheeler or Mr. Jones by April 18th.

Kiwanis Club Recognizes the Top 10%

of Junior Class


Top 10% of the Junior Class was recognized by the Kiwanis Club at a luncheon Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  Students spoke about their experiences in high school and future plans for changing the world.  Each student student received a sweatshirt from the Kiwanis Club.  Thank you Richard Crabbe and the Kiwanis Club for supporting our students and our school.
