  • Watson Brown Scholarship- Merit and need-based scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and college undergraduate students.  Scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years.  Due February 8, 2022
  • Rhodes Medical Scholarship -This scholarship is reserved for residents of Wilkes, Lincoln, and Taliaferro Counties working toward a career in any type of medical field. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years. Applications must be submitted by April 30th 2021. 
  • Troupe M. Harris Jr Scholarship - This scholarship is for any high school or college student who is a resident of Wilkes County and is majoring in or intents to major in the area of fine arts. Due May 31, 2022
  • Rayle EMC Scholarship-Students applying for this scholarship must live in a house that receives electric service from Rayle EMC. Due January 21, 2022
  • Renee Moon Memorial Scholarship-This scholarship is for students seeking a degree in the medical field. Due April 19, 2022
  • Beta Sigma Phi Memorial Scholarship - This is an annual Medical Scholarship. Given in memory of Ann Kortrey and Marty Blackmon. Due April 5, 2021 
  • Washington Rotary Club Scholarship - Designed to help a graduating senior get started and further his or her education at a post secondary institution. Due March 31, 2022
  • Kiwanis Club Scholarship - Scholarships granted to further the educations of those youth who demonstrate civic and moral excellence in the community. Turn in to High School Counselor Due April 12th
  • William Davis McCarty Memorial Scholarship -  Student must demonstrate determination, perseverance, and positive attitude towards continuance of education goals. Due April 30, 2022
  • Smyrna United Methodist Church - Student does not have to be a member of the church.  Applications should be turned in to Mrs. Callaway. Due March 31, 2022
  • Optimist Club Friend of Youth - To recognize and assist deserving and outstanding Wilkes County students who are pursuing a higher education.  Due April 21, 2021 
  • Delta Kappa Gamma-Gamma Tau - To recognize a student who plans to major in education. Applications may be turned in to Mrs. Mickens DUE March 19, 2022
  • Georgia Head Start Association Scholarship-This scholarship is for former Head Start students who are seniors graduation high school on schedule. Due April 17, 2021
  • LWREA -  Scholarship awarded to a student who plans to attend a college or vocational school for the upcoming academic year. Due March 31, 2022 - to High School Counselor 
  • John Duggan Memorial Scholarship -  The Woman's Club awards a scholarship to a deserving graduating senior in honor of John Rochford Duggan. Due March 25, 2022
  • Washington-Wilkes Scholarship - To provide financial assistance for higher education to students of Wilkes County who have demonstrated strong personal character and academic potential, and who qualify for financial need. Due April 15, 2021 - to High School Counselor 
  • North Wilkes Steering Committee - Offering a scholarship to two high school seniors from the Tignall/North Wilkes area who plan to enter college or a technical school. DUE March 30, 2022
  • Charles J. Wurst, Jr. Leadership Scholarship - To recognize and assist deserving and outstanding high school students who are pursuing a higher education.Must have served as a teen leader for 2 years. DUE May 1, 2020
  • Mitchell Willingham 4-H Scholarship- Scholarship awarded to an active graduating 4-H senior.
  • Wilkes County NAACP Scholarship- DUE April 1, 2022
  • GAHRA scholarship- Georgia Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities High School Student Scholarship. Student must be a resident of federally assisted housing.  See your counselor or Local Housing Authority for more information. Return application to 103 Cheney Parkway. Due March 11, 2022
  • American Pest Control Gene Higginbotham Memorial Scholarship-  Due March 11, 2022
  • Wilkes County Ducks Unlimited Scholarship- Student must have completed the Hunter Safety Course to be eligible Due April 1, 2022
  • Julian and Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship- scholarship for high school students who will be entering a Georgia university, college or technical school for the Fall 2021. Applications must be received by F&M Bank Attn: Andie Bridges no later than April 8, 2022 for this $1,000 Scholarship.
  • Thomson Alumane Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority  -Mail Transcripts to: Thomson Alumane Chapter PO Box 1675 Thomson, GA 30824 Due March 26, 2022
  • Canfor Scholarship - Scholarship for students entering the following programs: Forestry, Wood products manufacturing, Forestry related engineering programs, Millwright, Electrician, Power engineer, Instrument technician welding, and Heavy-duty mechanic.  Due May 2, 2022
  • Eddie H. Finnell, Sr. Scholarship - The mission of this scholarship is to support Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School (W-WCHS) alumni with the attainment of their educational and career goals. Eligible applicants are W-WCHS alumni who are in financial need and are attending/plan to attend a qualifying technical, 2-year, or 4-year college. Contact Dr. Finnell if you have questions.  DUE: July 15.

  • Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia Scholarship The COAG Scholarship is open to any Georgia high school senior (or a GED equivalency dated December 31, 2021 to May 31, 2022) who is a United States and Georgia citizen graduating by the spring of 2022.  You must be seeking an undergraduate degree, not a diploma, certification, master’s or doctoral degree. Due March 15, 2022

  • Nurse Vik Scholarship Program The Nurse Vik Scholarship is sponsored by Ms. Victoria McClendon, RN, and W-WCHS graduate. Two (2) $750 scholarships will be awarded to WWCHS graduating seniors who will be majoring in nursing that have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. To apply, students should send the following to (1) technical college or university/college letter of acceptance, (2) unofficial transcript, and (3) a short essay explaining why they want to be a nurse. Due May16, 2022
